Arthur is a tropical storm in the Gulf. It became the first named storm of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season when it formed on June 17, 2026.

Arthur is skirting along the Texas gulf coast, where it will make landfall before traversing over land towards Louisiana and Mississippi. The storm is delivering heavy rainfall to the Southeast U.S., where there will continue to be an excessive rainfall risk and a flash flooding threat for the region through the next few days as Arthur moves inland before eventually dissipating.
