Hurricane Barbara

Barbara became the second named storm of the 2025 Eastern Pacific hurricane season when it formed as a tropical storm on June 8, 2025, just off the southwest coast of Mexico.

Barbara intensified into a category 1 hurricane on the morning of June 9, 2025, becoming the first system to do so in the 2025 Eastern Pacific hurricane season.

Barbara weakened and became post-tropical the next day on June 10, 2025, dissipating hours later.
