Noru was a super typhoon in the Western Pacific basin.
Super Typhoon Noru is a powerful tropical cyclone in the Western Pacific ocean basin. Noru formed as a tropical storm, late on September 23rd, 2022.
On September 25th, Noru made landfall northeast of Manila on the island of Luzon. Noru weakened after passing through the Sierre Madre mountain range.
Noru re-entered open waters over the South China Sea, quickly re-gaining strength.
