Kong-rey is a typhoon in the western Philippine Sea.
On October 25, 2024, Kong-rey became a named tropical storm by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center and it remained a tropical storm until October 28, 2024. Kong-rey then quickly strengthened into very strong typhoon in less than twenty four hours.For more information, visit the Joint Typhoon Warning Center.
