Tropical Storm Chris

Tropical Storm Chris formed in the Bay of Campeche in the southern Gulf of Mexico on June 30th, 2024.

Chris made landfall in Mexico that same night along the coastline of the state of Veracruz, dissipating the following day on July 1st, 2024.

Tropical Storm Chris Makes Landfall in Mexico

Description:

Favorable environmental conditions allowed Tropical Storm Chris to form in the Bay of Campeche yesterday. Chris made landfall in the Mexican state of Veracruz early this morning, where it continues to bring heavy rainfall and damaging winds as it moves inland today.
