Cyclone Fina

Cyclone Fina was a tropical system that brought impacts to northern Australia.

Fina formed on November 18, 2025, south of Indonesia. The cyclone drifted east, slowly strengthening, becoming a Category 2 storm with winds of 60 mph (95 km/h) on November 19.

During the overnight hours of November 21-22, Fina made landfall in the Cobourg Peninsula in the Northern Territory as a Category 2 storm.

Fina is expected to push southwest, along the northern coasts of the Northern Territory and Western Australia, including a close pass near the city of Darwin.
