Storm Agnes
Storm Agnes was a mid-latitude cyclone that brought rain and wind to Ireland and Britain.
Storm Agnes brought disruption to Irish Sea ferry services due to heavy rain and rough sea conditions, as well as delayed flights at Belfast Airport.
Strong gusts of up to 84 mph were reported at Capel Curig in Conwy, causing power outages and fallen trees. Overall, damage to the UK was minimal due to the storm weakening over the Atlantic Ocean.
