Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Reservoir Filling

Since the first filling of the reservoir behind the Grand Renaissance Dam in Ethiopia back in 2020, polar-orbiting satellites have watched the reservoir fill with water over the last five years up through the inauguration of the dam in September 2025.
