Tropical Storm Aletta

Tropical Storm Aletta formed southwest of Mexico in the eastern Pacific Ocean on July 4th, 2024.

It is the first named storm of the 2024 eastern Pacific hurricane season, as well as the latest start to the eastern Pacific tropical season on record.

Aletta Forms in the Eastern Pacific

Description:

Aletta formed as a tropical storm yesterday southwest of Mexico, becoming the first named storm of the 2024 Eastern Pacific hurricane season.

Aletta has been downgraded to a depression, and is forecasted become a remnant low then dissipate over open ocean within the next day.
