A Kona Low coalesces in the North Pacific, swirling in immense size near Hawaii. The Kona Low pulls in tropical moisture towards the island state, delivering a barrage of showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall is expected as a result through the next couple of days, provoking a flooding threat for the islands.
