Hurricane Kristy

Hurricane Kristy was a major hurricane in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.

Kristy partially formed as a result of the remnants of Tropical Storm Nadine moving into the Eastern Pacific Ocean. On October 22, 2024, Kristy was upgraded to a hurricane.

On October 24, 2024, Kristy became a Category 5 storm with winds of 160 mph (260 km/hr).

Kristy become post-tropical on October 27, 2024. The moisture associated with the remnants of Kristy would go on to bring increased rainfall for parts of Hawaii.
