Tropical Storm Tammy

Tammy was a system southeast of Bermuda in the Atlantic Ocean.

Tammy formed on Oct. 18 in the Tropical Atlantic. After strengthening into a low-level hurricane, it made landfall on Oct. 21 in the island of Barbuda, in the Caribbean.

As the storm moved into open waters in the Caribbean, it lashed the region with heavy rainfall. Maximum sustained wind speeds of 75 mph, and dropped upwards of 3 inches of rain on parts of the U.S Virgin Islands.
